The Preston County Buckwheat Festival is one of the largest festivals in West Virginia, and is held on the last weekend of September in Kingwood, WV.It is famous for the Buckwheat cakes that are served all over the county during the festival. It is the largest celebration of Buckwheat pancakes in the world.

Garage Hit By Lightning

Lightning struck this garage next door and burned it to the ground as severe storms rolled through our area this morning in Millerville, Taylor Co. 6 miles outside Grafton WV.
